Jefferson County Historical Society Fine Art Collection
The Jefferson County Historical Society has as its mission: To actively discover, collect, preserve, and promote the heritage of Jefferson County in the State of Washington.
Over its 130 years of operation JCHS has amassed a large collection of art. Through a grant from the Port Townsend Arts Commission and with the support and cooperation of JCHS, the Port Townsend Virtual Art Museum is able to exhibit some of this collection. The collection is securely stored and protected but due to space and security limitations is only rarely shown.
